Terms of Use for WeChat Services

Welcome to WeChat Services!

Before using WeChat Services (hereinafter referred to as "the product"), read and follow the Tencent WeChat Software License and Service Agreement and this Supplementary Agreement.

Please be sure to carefully read and fully understand the terms of use. By using the product, you agree to have read and accepted all of the terms; otherwise, please do not use the product.

By accessing or using this product, you understand and agree that:

1. Before using or enabling the services of the product, please back up your data in your client device and the original WeChat app.

2. Using or enabling the services of the product, you have access to the additional services provided by WeChat. As services of the product are enabled or disabled by default, you can enable or disable them on corresponding screen.

3. In the view of the additive nature of the product, using the product may incur certain risks, including but not limited to influencing directly or indirectly your normal use of WeChat due to technology errors and bugs, partial or full loss of data which are unable to be recovered on your client device or the original WeChat app, and alterations in experience as well as the WeChat Service being suspended/terminated.

4. Tencent does not promise to make part or all of the functions and services of the product as permanent functions and services within WeChat.

5. Tencent will reasonably and carefully take necessary technical measures to protect information on your client device and guarantee data security in accordance with industry standards, but you acknowledge and agree that Tencent does not provide a full guarantee on this. You also agree that Tencent will not assume responsibility under any circumstances for data loss, terminal device damage, direct or indirect financial losses and other losses due to use of this product.
